I come from a small town in Texas where hospitality and harmony were highly valued. Growing up, I learned to listen and care deeply about making people feel at home. After studying abroad in Morocco during my liberal arts degree, I became interested in the possibility of doing meaningful work in a rapidly developing marketplace with a promising future, like Morocco.

 

After nearly 10 years of practical work experience, servicing Fortune 500 companies and managing multimillion summer programs with over 500 team members across 300 locations across multiple major US markets, I transitioned with my family to Tangier in the fall of 2019 with plans to launch BIG Housing in the summer of 2020.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, my family and I used our time to adjust to our new home and learn the local language. Embracing the culture and people of Morocco has been both rewarding and challenging, and I am more committed than ever to helping others feel at home here.
